Step-by-Step Guide

Filter for any building components and select them

  1. Activate the function by clicking on Filter below the model in the BIM display.

    1. Use the arrow to open the administration of the filters

The window, which initially opens in the middle of the screen, can be moved as required and offers the following functions:
Edit name -> an individual name can be assigned
Filter type -> First enter the type you are looking for, e.g. expense type, floor or object status
Filter value -> several values can also be selected here

    2. Clicking directly on Filter opens the “filter chips” that appear to the left of the 3D model

  2. As soon as the filter type and values have been selected and Visibility has been selected, the filter is activated and all matching building components become visible. The building components that do not match the criteria are automatically hidden.

  3. If Selection is activated, the entire model is visible and all building components that have been filtered for are automatically selected.

  4. To combine filters, you can work with the “-”, “Intersection” and “+” symbols.

  5. The selection of the filter function can now support weekly planning, as the building components do not have to be clicked on manually.
