Connect the construction schedule with actual planning in specter

  1. Go to the Construction Schedule section via the top navigation menu.

  2. The uploaded construction schedule should now be displayed in Specter as “Target.” You can see the transmitted plan structure on the left and the trains on the right as the time dimension of the construction schedule.

  3. Activate the Edit 4D function at the bottom of the window. Once this function is activated, a link icon appears next to each item in the plan structure.

    link symbol:

  4. Now you can link the model to the construction schedule. Open the 3D model. Select the relevant components and click on the link symbol in the construction schedule below. A new window will open. Click on + Add selected components to link the selected 3D objects to the position.

Hint: For quick and easy linking, it is helpful to create filters in the 3D Viewer that match the structure of the construction schedule (e.g., by sections, components, or floors).

    Difference between objects and tasks:
If you link one or more 3D objects to positions, all planned tasks associated with these components will automatically appear in the construction schedule. If you only want to link specific tasks to each position, the tasks associated with the components will automatically be displayed in the drop-down menu under Order numbers. Select the desired tasks here and then close the function. The search function allows you to filter tasks quickly and directly.

  5. Save
To complete and save the editing process, simply deactivate the Edit 4D function. The settings will then be applied automatically.
