Overview

With custom view configurations in specter, you can tailor your workspace exactly to your needs. Whether for different devices (PC, tablet) or cross-team standards – you can save, organize, and access your views at any time.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Customizing the View
Click on the settings icon in the top right to adjust your view.

  2. Resize
Scale or reposition elements like the Lookahead Plan or 3D model by clicking on Edit Layout.

  3. Adjust Content
Under Info in the Weekplan or Lookahead Plan, select which information you want to display. Adjust the order of the information, such as placing milestones above tasks in the Lookahead Plan, or add additional details like quantities or man-hours to the tiles.

  4. Enable Features
Activate the features relevant to you, such as filters and axes in the model, or color by object status.

  5. Save the View

    1. Click on + Add New View under settings.

    2. Give the view a name, e.g., "Weekly Overview PC."

    3. Choose a folder:
By default, the view will be saved in the "Ungrouped" folder.
Alternatively, you can create custom folders, such as "PC" or "Tablet."

  6. Update the View

    1. Adjust your view and click on the save icon for the view you want to overwrite.

    2. Confirm the overwrite to save the changes.

Notes

  • Saved views can be used by all team members.

  • Make sure to name and organize important views appropriately.

  • Specter always saves the last used view. When you close and reopen the browser, this view will be automatically loaded.
