Step-by-step instructions
Add construction baseline files to specter
Click on the menu in the top left corner and select Settings.
Select the Construction Baseline section via the Manage Files tab and drag the desired file into the corresponding field. A baseline can be uploaded in the following formats: .mpp, .xer, .pp, .ifc, .ccv, .xlsx & .xls.
Click Next Step and start the pipeline to upload the file.
Return to the main view. To do this, click on the menu in the top left corner and then on Dashboard.
Once the baseline has been uploaded, a message will appear on the screen.
2. Connect baseline (4D target/actual comparison)

Step-by-step instructions
Connect the construction baselinewith actual planning in specter
Go to the
Baselinesection via the top navigation menu. The uploaded construction baseline should now be displayed in Specter as “Target.” You can see the transmitted plan structure on the left and the trains on the right as the time dimension of the baseline.
Activate the
Edit 4Dfunction at the bottom of the window. Once this function is activated, a link icon appears next to each item in the plan structure.
link symbol:Now you can link the model to the baseline. Open the 3D model. Select the relevant components and click on the link symbol in the baseline below. A new window will open. Click on + Add selected components to link the selected 3D objects to the position.
Hint: For quick and easy linking, it is helpful to create filters in the 3D Viewer that match the structure of the baseline (e.g., by sections, components, or floors).
Difference between objects and tasks:
If you link one or more 3D objects to positions, all planned tasks associated with these components will automatically appear in the construction baseline. If you only want to link specific tasks to each position, the tasks associated with the components will automatically be displayed in the drop-down menu underOrder numbers. Select the desired tasks here and then close the function. The search function allows you to filter tasks quickly and directly.
Save
To complete and save the editing process, simply deactivate theEdit 4Dfunction. The settings will then be applied automatically.
