Overview
The daily report is a central tool in specter for documenting daily construction activities, resources, and special occurrences. It can be accessed in different ways and offers detailed customization options for each report.
Step-by-Step Guide
The Automated Daily Report in specter
1. Opening the Daily Report
There are three ways to open the daily report:
Via the weekly schedule: Click on
Edit Daily Reportnext to the daily display.Via the weekly preview: Click on the corresponding icon.
Via the menu: Select
Daily Reportsand open the desired date using the calendar view.
2. Key Information Automatically Included in the Daily Report
The daily report contains the following information:
Project Data: Project name, company logo, construction site address, date, working hours, responsible person, and weather data.
Weather data is automatically generated if the construction site address is stored in the project management.
Personnel Deployment: Differentiated between own personnel and external companies.
You can edit details such as working hours or roles under "Edit." These changes will be automatically transferred to the weekly planning.
Daily Activities:
Tasks edited or deleted in the daily report are not linked to the weekly planning.
However, the weekly planning is automatically transferred to the daily report.
Machines and Materials:
These details are automatically transferred from the resource management system into the daily report.
Adjustments and additional entries can be made as needed.
3. Free Text Fields and Attachments
Special Events and Instructions can be added via free text fields.
Saved entries can be used as templates for future reports.
Attachments: There are two options for adding files—either from your computer or from previously uploaded files in specter.
4. Export and Save
The daily report can be saved and exported for further processing or archiving.
5. Locking the Daily Report
To prevent reports from being edited later, the daily report for a specific day can be locked. A lock symbol indicates that the report is now read-only.
The resources in the daily report are automatically transferred from the resource management system. You can find a guide on this here:
