Step-by-Step Guide

The Coloring Options of the Model in specter

Below the model, you will find the Coloring function. At the start of the project, you already have three standard settings available:

  1. Object Status
This setting shows the progress of the components. You can use the color legend above the model to see which components are completed, planned, started, or delayed.

  2. Trade
Here, you can see which trades are planned for specific components over a given period. You can select a day or a timeframe (e.g., a week) and display the coloring of the components accordingly. Again, a color legend is shown above the model to indicate the planned trades.

  3. Progress
This option combines the object status with the effort type, allowing you to see both the progress and the planned trades in one view.

Custom Coloring Options

In addition to the standard options, you can define your own coloring criteria:

  1. Click the “+” to create a new coloring.

  2. Choose a color that differs from the standard colors.

  3. Specify the filter type (e.g., building section) and set the filter value (e.g., “Basement” or “Building 1A”).

  4. Name the new color setting.

  5. The legend above the model will automatically update to display your new colorings.
