1. Assigning Object Tags

Object Tags let you tag elements or areas individually – independent of the existing object hierarchy. Examples:

  • Checks or approvals by the structural engineer

  • Dividing construction sections (takt planning)

  • Restrictions or special requirements

How to assign a Tag:

  1. Select a building element in the model.

  2. Right-click → Manage tags.

  3. Enter a new tag and add it.

  4. The label is now linked to the element.

The same workflow applies to entire areas.

2. Managing and removing Object Tags

  • Already created labels are available for other elements as well.

  • To remove a label, open Manage labels again and untick the checkbox.

3. Filtering by Object Tags

Once elements have labels, you can filter tasks or views by them.

  • In the Lookahead plan: select filter type → Object Tag.

  • In the Viewer: use the plus button to search for labels.

Example: Show only tasks linked to the label Approval structural engineer.

4. Object Tags in work preparation

Object Tags are also useful in work preparation.

  • Go to Object grouping.

  • Add a new criterion.

  • Select Object Tag.

This way, you can structure objects that don’t yet contain all the required information in the model (e.g. precast walls).
